Presentation of Definitive Feasability Study (DFS)
Monday 1 September, CEO of Grangex Christer Lindquist, together with members of the technical team, presented the results of the feasibility study (DFS) for the reopening of Sydvaranger. The presentation is available via the link.
The Project
Sydvaranger aims to resume operations and deliver high-quality magnetite-iron ore to the world market. Our employees and managers have worked intensively to complete a feasibility study that will be used as a basis for further start-up of the mine. At the beginning of September 2025, this study was completed and the results show that the mine has the possibility of 25 years of operation based on what has been mapped of available iron ore resources in the mine today.
